Online Education has always been an available academic teaching way.

Online education is an environment that takes place in a virtual space. By using modern technologies (personal smartphones and laptops), Online education allows learners and teachers to participate and control the classroom; moreover, the supporting application's contribution raised the effectiveness of the classes and made the education more enjoyable.

Is it possible in the future to adopt online education?

After stopping traditional education in most universities and schools because of the spread of the Coronavirus, Will these institutions adopt e-learning officially within their curriculum soon?

Virtual classes have caused a noticeable revolution in the education world; moreover, several advantages and disadvantages had to be in the way that led them to appeal to some and the subject of rejection to others.

Some of the most crucial qualities in this modern education technique:

1- The opportunity to choose the right atmosphere (where is the student most comfortable, not having to restrict himself with a specific period).

2- Additionally, saving time, students don’t have to move anywhere or use transportation. Instead, they can use that wasted time in getting more homework done or having the time to practice some of their hobbies.

3- E-learning is also always available and easy to access. Any student can re-watch the same lectures at any time of the day, or for example, if they’re sick or have an emergency, they don’t need to worry about one more thing. In that way, online education is very dependable.

4- Self-reliance and a sense of responsibility towards time. Choosing to attend the lecture recording its notes, and searching for information on the Internet if it’s not sufficient; Taking advantage of many resources such as Khan Academy, Udemy, and many YouTube channels.

5- Relatively, if Online education became official in many schools, it will surely cost less than traditional education since the student will not be using a lot of campus privileges.

In reality, everything no matter how beneficial it is, if it has advantages it must have disadvantages as well:

1- Little socializing environment, and not being able to interact with the teachers and the student’s classmates.

2- Although it may seem very easy to follow, in many majors, E-learning can’t be applied. For instance, majors with a lot of laboratory classes and Art colleges.

3- Finally, the difficulty of committing during online learning. Many students have a hard time with self-discipline without supervision or the needed environment that schools provide.

To summarize this, many universities are adapting to modern learning, especially in Turkey. Many private universities had already taken the required measures and qualifications. We will probably witness a revolution in the educational field soon after this pandemic ends, so we find that many universities can hopefully rely on online education for some majors.
